Zooming to Fitness

We might still be socially distant from one another but one thing the lockdown has taught us all to do is ZOOM!

This month we should have been running about Peckham Rye Park, after pestering grandparents and aunts and uncles for sponsorship money. And while we can’t get active together in the park, we can bring the activity to you at home!

We miss our school community and want to get together again, if only virtually!

So what are we planning?

Zooming to Fitness 2020

fundraiser to get the kids back to school safely

Saturday 6th June

10:30 Kids’ Class - 20 mins of kid friendly keep fit moves

11:00 Adults’ Class - 1 hour of endurance strength training

Reception and Year 4 mum, and Fun Run Master extraordinaire, Phillippa Gillespie-Eyles is a fully qualified Personal Trainer who moved her business online after the gym shut and we all locked down. She is offering to run two classes in lieu of the fun run, and we’d love it if as many of you as possible can join in.

We realise these are very difficult and strange times. There’s no entry fee to join the class for adults or children. However if you can, and would like to, any donation is truly welcome and will help to get the school back up and running safely.

The funds raised will be used to help supply individual sports bags to help the school with their social distancing efforts when they reopen on June 1st!
