The PTA Needs You!

As the school year wraps up, we’re saying a fond farewell to several wonderful PTA members who’ve helped make the magic happen. That means… some pretty big boots to fill!

Could you step into one of these roles? Or maybe grab a friend or two and take one on together? Please don’t assume someone else will volunteer — if you’ve got a bit of time, a helpful streak, or just a love of bake sales, we need you!

Open Roles for the 2025/26 School Year

PTA Co-Chair

🕐 1/2 hours per week (flexible)

Daytime availability would be super helpful but not essential

Supporting Victoria to organise and manage the day-to-day running of the PTA. This could be getting involved with or leading on special projects, or taking on the responsibility of specific events. The role could be just a sounding board and admin help, or it could be more of a strategic/involved role if you had the time/interest. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bake Sale Leads

🕐 2 hours per half term (usually Fridays)

Coordinating volunteers via WhatsApp, setting up and clearing up on the day

2^nd hand Uniform Leads

🕐 2 hours per half term (usually Fridays)

Organising donated uniform (stored in a special shed at school). Setting up and clearing away on the day. Co-ordinating with the school to collect unclaimed Lost Property for sales

Quiz Leads

🕐  3-4 hours leading up to and on 14 November 2025

Coordinating with Matt (MC) and Mark (Quiz Writer) on the day. Organise PTA helpers for the bar. Co-ordinate drinks orders ahead of time. Sort out Event Licence ahead of time. All information will be provided.

Culture Day Leads

🕐 1-2 hours on the day (15 May 2025 tbc) + 4-6 hours of preparation ahead of Culture Day. 

Meeting with Miss Green and other staff to help organise the day (though this is 80% done by school). Help to organise and run the Food Feast at the end of the day. Co-ordinate volunteers for the Food Feast.

All these roles are perfect for sharing — pair up with a pal or team up as a trio. If you’re interested but don’t have a buddy, don’t worry — we’ll match you up with someone lovely.
