Fun Run FAQs!

The FUN RUN is back! Last year we held our very first FoHPED Fun Rub, organised by the wonderful Philippa. Despite the drizzly weather, it was a great morning out on Peckham Rye and we raised just over £2000 which was put towards the Green Screen in the playground to help reduce exhaust fumes and pollution.

So we’re doing it again! There will be more info nearer the time but for now, here’re some answers to some frequently asked questions aka the FAQs!

What date is the Fun Run taking place?

Saturday, May 18

Where?

Peckham Rye Park

Who can join?

Everyone! Kids, parents, carers, grandparents, teachers

How far do we have to run?

The kids will run 1k (and must be accompanied by an adult). The adults will then run 5K separately.

What else is happening?

There will be a cake and refreshment sale. And like last year we are asking the children to enter a competition to design the official 2019 Fun Run t-shirt!

Students are asked to submit a single colour drawing of something that represents the spirit of the Fun Run, Harris Primary East Dulwich or anything that inspires them.

Please submit your single A4 drawing to the office or emailing a 300 dpi (vector or tiff prefered) to fohped@gmail.com by Friday, April 26.

Anything else?

Yes! This year we’d like to make it more of a social get-together for everyone entering the fun run, and for those who would like to support the event but won’t be running. So we’re having a sponsored picnic on the day too.
