Summer Fair 2025

FoHPED (Friends of Harris Primary East Dulwich) look forward to welcoming you to the jungle, at our annual summer fair on Saturday 28th June, 12-2pm. Get the date in the diary now!

There’s a host of new activities to try at this year’s event, so which will you hit first? Wiggling your way through Lizard’s Limbo? Showing off your skills at the Safari Ranger Nerf Target? Or will you brave a visit to our first-ever ‘Swampy Style Salon’?!

We’re thrilled to announce another brand-new experience at our summer 2025 fair, in the form of Grub’s Grotto. Children will see the jungle truly come to life as they have the chance to encounter a variety of real creatures, handled by dedicated professionals. Expect furry friends or creepy crawlies; perhaps even something slithery with scales… (TBC). Be sure to secure your slot - booking details coming in due course.

All this and more old favourites, like the Bush Bouncy Castle, Penalty Shootout and - of course - our Jolly Jam Jars will receive the jungle treatment too. (Please hang on to your used jam jars between now and June; each one can be given the ‘party bag’ treatment and bought with tokens at the fair, so we’ll gratefully collect them next term). And who could pass up the opportunity to ‘Splat the Teacher’?

It’s unlikely you’ll go home empty-handed with so many prizes to be won, not to mention the Tropical Tombola and the Rainforest Raffle. The latter always creates a buzz, as local businesses contribute fantastic prizes; the list just gets bigger and better each week in the run-up to the fair. It’s a wonderful way to rediscover our neighbourhood and the many things to eat, drink, see and do on our doorstep.

Feeling peckish after all that action? Pay a visit to the Jungle Juice Bar and Bush-Tucker BBQ, or snap up some home bakes at the Crocodile Cake Sale.
