we wheelie did it!
OMG you came, you cycled, you smashed it!
A group of Harris kids and grownups collectively cycled around Herne Hill Velodrome track last Saturday, clocking up the 470km from our little school to the French capital. They actually"reached" Paris way before the allotted time was up, so some of the adults made like Dory, and just kept cycling for fun!
When not on the track, our first in person event since last year's lockdown began saw jolly jam jars causing excitement, glitter tattoos being administered, burgers and hot dogs being eaten (thank you William Rose!), ice cream being devoured (thank you Oddono's) not one but two £75 bike vouchers being won (thank you Balfe's Bikes) and a thoroughly good time had by all (thank you Winkworth's).
AND! You kindly donated so much that we are we have currently raised over £10,000! And there is still more to come! Our biggest ever fund raising event!
